Fast Forward is part of Idaho's Advanced Opportunities program. It pays for high school students' overload* and dual credit courses, plus some examinations such as CLEP tests. Students have $4,125 to use for overload and dual credit courses.
*Overload courses are those taken in addition to a full schedule at the school.
Apply to the college as a dual credit student (CSI, CWI, BSU, NNU, LCSC).
Register for the course at the high school.
After being accepted, register for the course at the college.
Sign the Advanced Opportunities Participation Form (see below) and turn in to the counselor.
Have the district counselor (Joann Wade) create an account on the Idaho Advanced Opportunities website.
Repeat these registration steps each semester.
College courses are generally much faster paced than regular high school courses.
Grades earned in dual credit courses affect your college GPA forever and may affect financial aid eligibility.
When registering for a college course, you must be aware of the college policies regarding deadlines for enrolling, withdrawing and grading.
There is a lot of information you need to be aware of, which is located on the Advanced Opportunities Participation Form below.

Students and parents must sign the form and deliver it to their school counselor.
