Hello, my name is Tanya Merriman, or Mrs. Merriman. I'm excited to teach 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade ELA and Social Studies this year. This is my first year teaching after subbing the last 2 years. I received my bachelor's degree from Arizona State University and I'm currently pursuing my teaching certification in K-8. 

I live on a working cattle ranch with my husband, 3 kids, and too many animals to count! I love being involved in my community and working to better the lives of our youth. In my "spare time" I also enjoy photography, anything outdoors, traveling and a good book. Most of the time you will see me cheering my children on at their many activities around town. 

Albion Elementary will always be near and dear to my heart. It is where my own children first attended school. Small class sizes and a "family feel" is part of what makes this place so great.
I'm honored to be an Albion Bulldog!
